Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

The painting consists of a yellow horizontal rectangle at the top, followed by a black horizontal stripe, a narrow white rectangular band, and the bottom half is lavender. The top half of the rose ground is deeper in color, while the bottom half is pale. Referred to as "White Center," Mark Rothko continued to simplify compositional elements, dividing the canvas into horizontal color bands starting in 1950. Despite the frontal composition and lack of spatial illusionism, the broad color bands appear to simultaneously float in front of the picture plane and merge with the color field, as seen in White Center. A luminosity results from layered thin washes of paint, allowing underpainting to show through. In each work of this period, Rothko sought subtle variations in proportion and color, achieving a broad range of emotions and moods within this limited format.
