Mr. dripx has remained a mystery for several years. In the early years he created paintings entirely by dripping paint on the canvas and labeled his process as “no touch” painting. As years passed by he experimented with different ways to manipulate and control the paint as it dripped. In 2003, he developed a collage technique called Dripko.
Dripko is a derivative from the word from “Drip” and the Greek word “Kolla” which means “glue”. By dripping paint on the objects and then attaching them to a canvas, you can achieve a three dimensional effect.
